Baku to Host First ITS Baku Innovation Expo in 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The inaugural Baku International Innovation Trade Show (ITS Baku 2026) will be held at the Baku Expo Center from 26 to 28 November 2026. Organisers expect more than 350 companies from around 20 countries to take part.
The exhibition will bring together representatives of high-tech industries to showcase developments in artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, green technologies and additive manufacturing.
According to the organisers, the main objective of ITS Baku 2026 is to provide a platform for presenting advanced technological solutions, promoting cross-sector cooperation and building partnerships across the innovation cycle, from startups and scientific research to industrial implementation and international market expansion.
The programme will include panel discussions featuring international experts, presentations of innovative projects, startup pitch sessions, business-to-business meetings and demonstration zones where companies can showcase their technologies to potential partners and investors.
Each day of the exhibition will focus on a different theme. On 26 November, the programme will centre on "Business and Industry Synergy." Digital healthcare and biotechnology will be the focus on 27 November, while education, sustainable development and investment will be highlighted on 28 November.
The organisers expect ITS Baku 2026 to become an international platform for companies, startups and investors from Asia, the Middle East and Europe, helping to establish long-term technology partnerships and expand international cooperation.
The exhibition is viewed as an important step in developing Azerbaijan's innovation ecosystem.
Organisers expect the event to help attract foreign direct investment to the country's IT sector, expand local companies' access to advanced technologies and international partnerships, and strengthen Azerbaijan's position as one of the region's technology hubs.
