Uzbekistan increases electricity production by 2.18%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased electricity generation by 2.18% in January-June 2020 compared to the same period of 2019.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country’s enterprises generated about 31.16 billion kW / h of electricity.

Also, in January-June, Uzbekistan produced about 14.96 million Gcal of thermal energy, which is 1.34% less compared to the same period in 2019.
