Uzbekistan foreign minister bids farewell to Malaysian envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov has held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan, Ilham Tuah bin Illias, as the diplomat concludes his mission in the country.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the results of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, as well as the current state of bilateral relations.

The officials noted the dynamic development of political dialogue, trade and economic ties, investment cooperation, as well as collaboration in education, tourism and cultural fields.

The head of Uzbekistan’s foreign ministry highly appreciated the ambassador’s contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Saidov wished the diplomat success in his future endeavors.
