Uzbekistan exports cars for US$134.9 million in January-May.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan exported cars for US$134.9 million in January-May 2021, the press service of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

According to the ministry, the volume of car exports increased by US$84.6 million compared to the same period of 2021.

The volume of exports of passenger cars to Kazakhstan reached US$127.1 million. Afghanistan ranked second in terms of the volume of exports of passenger cars with an indicator of US$2.7 million.

Uzbekistan supplied cars worth US$2.3 million to Ukraine, US$1 million to Kyrgyzstan, US$955,900 to Russia, US$444,700 to Azerbaijan and US$339,100 to Tajikistan.

In May, Uzbekistan exported cars worth US$22.5 million.
