Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Taxpayers in Uzbekistan have begun receiving SMS messages containing information on property and land tax amounts assessed for the current year.

The deadline for paying these taxes is 15 October.

The messages include “Details” and “Pay” buttons. By selecting “Details,” users can download a payment notice containing information about the property address, its area, cadastral value, tax rate and assessed tax amount.

The document also provides the contact number of the responsible tax authority employee and other relevant information.

The “Pay” button opens a platform with the Soliq mobile application. If the application is already installed, users can make the payment through the “Tax Payments” section. If the application is not installed, it can be downloaded through the platform that opens.

If the information in the payment notice does not correspond to the actual data, citizens should contact the cadastral authorities. This applies when the property area, cadastral value or occupied land area is incorrect. An appeal is also required if the property listed in the notice does not belong to the recipient.

Tax authorities separately warn taxpayers to check the sender of the SMS messages. Notifications are sent on behalf of Soliq.uz, while Perfectum subscribers receive them from number 6079.

SMS messages received from other numbers or addresses are not associated with the tax authorities.
