Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A working meeting was held in Tashkent between Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev and representatives of major Saudi companies, including Vision Invest, Miahona, Data Volt, and Saudi Tabreed. The delegation was led by Omar Al-Midani, President and CEO of Vision Invest.

During the talks, the parties reviewed the current status and future prospects of large-scale investment initiatives aimed at developing key sectors of Uzbekistan’s economy and expanding cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

The projects under discussion cover a wide range of areas, including the construction of a new international airport in Tashkent, the development of a multidisciplinary hospital in the Fergana region, modernization of water supply systems and pumping stations, expansion of centralized heating networks, and the creation of modern facilities for hazardous waste processing.

Special attention was given to a project involving the construction of a high-tech data center in the capital.

Both sides emphasized that the portfolio consists of structured and clearly defined projects with strong investment potential and strategic importance for the modernization of infrastructure, utilities, digital economy, and the social sector.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further advance the agreed initiatives and move toward practical implementation of new stages of cooperation.
