Uzbekistan and Antalya Chambers of Commerce Strengthen Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Davronbek Kurbanov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, has held a meeting with a delegation from the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO), led by the organization's Deputy Chairman Hakan Pakalın. The parties discussed the further development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
The negotiations took place on 30 June 2026. During the meeting, the participants reviewed issues regarding increasing the volume of mutual trade, expanding export-import cooperation, developing direct contacts between the business circles of the two nations, and strengthening institutional interaction between the chambers of commerce and industry.
The sides paid special attention to organizing regular business-to-business (B2B) meetings, business missions, and joint events, which they noted during the talks should create new opportunities for entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed preparations for Uzbek-Turkish B2B meetings scheduled for 1 July 2026 in Tashkent, and agreed to jointly ensure the event is conducted at a high organizational level.
The Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founded in 1882, unites approximately 65,000 representatives from the tourism, industrial, agricultural, trade, and service sectors, and facilitates the development of international economic cooperation.
