Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy Jorabek Mirzamakhmudov held talks in Tashkent with Amit Singh, Chief Executive Officer for International Energy at India’s Adani Group, to discuss prospects for expanding cooperation in the energy sector.

The main focus of the meeting was the development of renewable energy sources, modernization of energy infrastructure, improved sector efficiency, and the implementation of potential investment projects.

The sides examined in detail opportunities to expand green energy capacity in Uzbekistan, as well as the introduction of modern technologies and international experience into the country’s energy system.

They also exchanged views on investment cooperation and improving the resilience of the energy system, including the deployment of innovative solutions across the sector.

Adani Group is one of India’s largest private conglomerates, operating in power generation, renewable energy, logistics, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, and implementing projects in various countries worldwide.
