Uzbek-Ukrainian turnover reaches US$665.9m in 2011

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Ukraine made up US$665.9 million in 2011, of which US$180 million fell to share of Uzbekistan’s exports and US$485.9 million to imports.

Main export items of Uzbekistan were gas family and oil products (20%), cotton-fibre (18.9%), automobiles (17.6%), nuts (13.1%), non-ferrous metals and products from them (8.9%), fertilizers (7.3%), services (transport, communication, 7%), stockinet (1.9%), plastic and goods from it (1.2%) and others.

Uzbekistan mainly imported equipment (26.9%), ferrous metals and products from them (15.2%), fats and oils of animals (12.7%), automobiles (12.2%), pharmaceutical products (8.3%), paper and cardboards (4%), timber and timber goods (2.2%), tanning or painting products (2.1%), products from non- precious metals (1.5%), services (transport, communication, 1.5%) and others.
