Tourist arrivals in Uzbekistan rise 50% in first 10 months of 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan welcomed 9.7 million foreign tourists between January and October 2025. This is 3.2 million more than the same period in 2024, representing a 50% increase.

Neighboring countries remain the top sources of visitors: Kyrgyzstan — 2.8 million, Kazakhstan — 2.3 million, and Tajikistan — 2.2 million.

Other notable sources include Russia (851,900), Afghanistan (388,200), and Turkmenistan (308,900).

Among more distant countries, the largest numbers of visitors came from China (217,700), Turkey (148,100), India (66,100), and South Korea (41,600).
