Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- According to the Uzbek Commodity Exchange, the price of cottonseed oil fell sharply on 23 June.
In particular, the price of a ton of cottonseed oil decreased from 14,866 soums on 20 June to 10,023 soums on 23 June, which means a 1.5-fold decrease. Compared to the previous day (on 22 June - 19,604 soums), the price has almost halved.
From the beginning of the current week, 1821.7 tons of cottonseed oil were sold, which is an average of 455.4 tons of sold products per day.
One of the reasons that influenced the decline in prices for products on 23 June was that at the auctions on that day, producers offered 3.4 times more cottonseed oil than at the beginning of the week (on 20 June) - 1128.2 tons.
