Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 24 October 2022, a debut transaction for the purchase of government securities by a foreign investor was registered at the auctions of the Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange (UzRCE).
In accordance with the changes made to the relevant regulatory legal acts regulating the government securities market, legal entities - non-residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been given the right to purchase government securities through dealers - members of the UzRCE.
