Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A 27-year-old taxi driver in Tashkent region was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest and a fine of 34 million soums for showing pornography to a sixth-grader.
The incident occurred while transporting a sixth-grader, when the driver decided to show the girl a pornographic video. Frightened, the schoolgirl demanded that the car be stopped.
The driver dropped her off on the side of the road, not forgetting to insult her first.
The girl contacted law enforcement agencies, who quickly identified the taxi driver and opened a criminal case.
The court found him guilty of petty hooliganism and distributing pornography, sentencing him to administrative arrest and a fine. In addition, the taxi driver’s Redmi phone, which was used to view and show pornographic materials, was confiscated.
