Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Chinese edition of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s book, “Uzbekistan on the Path of Sustainable Development and Prosperity”, was officially presented in Beijing. The event brought together representatives of government bodies, academic and expert circles, businesses, media and the diplomatic corps, Dunyо news agency reported.
The book was published by China’s People’s Publishing House and consists of eight chapters.
It examines Uzbekistan’s large-scale transformations, the country’s engagement with the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, and Central Asia’s role in Uzbekistan’s foreign policy.
The publication includes speeches and reports by Mirziyoyev on reforms under the New Uzbekistan development agenda, as well as the country’s domestic and foreign policy. It also features interviews and articles by the president previously published in international media.
