SOCAR Completes Ustyurt Seismic Survey, Data Processing Next

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has completed field seismic operations on the Ustyurt Plateau and begun selecting a contractor to process the acquired data.

According to AZERTAC, processing of the seismic materials is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027 due to the significant volume of collected data.

The company also reported an expansion of trade cooperation between SOCAR and Uzbekistan. The parties are currently discussing new joint projects in energy trading, oil refining, and fuel retail sales.

Details regarding the parameters and implementation timelines of the initiatives under discussion were not disclosed.
