Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Russia became the largest supplier of chocolate products to Uzbekistan in January–July 2026.
During the period, Uzbekistan imported about 28.5 thousand tonnes of chocolate products from 46 countries for a total of US$123.7 million, according to the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
Compared with the same period in 2025, imports of chocolate products increased by 1.6 thousand tonnes, or 6%.
Russia accounted for 19.5 thousand tonnes of supplies, significantly exceeding the volumes imported from other countries.
Ukraine ranked second, supplying 2.2 thousand tonnes of chocolate products to Uzbekistan. Kazakhstan supplied 914 tonnes, while Belarus delivered 805.2 tonnes.
Other major suppliers included Lithuania with 746.2 tonnes, Turkmenistan with 715.2 tonnes and Türkiye with 569.5 tonnes.
The remaining countries accounted for about 3 thousand tonnes of imported chocolate products.
