President of Uzbekistan receives head of Chechnya

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov on 16 October, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Chechnya.

The parties paid special attention to issues of increasing the volumes and expanding the range of mutual trade, implementation of joint programs and projects in the economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Ramzan Kadyrov stressed his readiness to actively participate in development and strengthening of mutually beneficial and multifaceted ties between the two countries.
