A girl survives after her mom throws her to cage of bear at Tashkent Zoo
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 January, at about 12 noon, an unknown motivated young woman, in front of the public, threw a little girl into a bear enclosure. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent Zoo.
The Caucasian brown bear Zuzu, lying in his enclosure, followed the actions of a woman who threw the girl over a metal fence. Despite the attempts of visitors and zoo staff, it was not possible to stop the woman, she nevertheless threw the child down to the predator.
The bear slowly descended into the ditch, approached the girl, sniffed and walked away. The Carnivores department quickly reacted and began to lure him into the inner room, where he immediately entered without fail.
The child was removed from the enclosure and examined by a zoo nurse. The girl suffered only from a fall from a height of almost 5 meters, and not from the teeth of a predator. During the initial examination, apart from bruises, no visible serious injuries were found in her.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating the causes of this case, and the child is under the supervision of doctors.
“Tashkent Zoo bears all the costs of providing medical care to the girl and wishes her a speedy recovery,” the zoo notes.
