Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – On 25 August 2020, a video conference with Korean partners and the Uztekstilprom Association took place.
The conference was attended by the leadership of the Korea Institute for Technology Development (KIAT), the Korean Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH), partners of the TASK consortium, Kyung Buk Technopark (KVTR) and the Korean Textile Trade Association (KTTA), as well as the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.
The main topic of the conversation is further development of the Textile Technopark in Tashkent, including the organization of the production process, the implementation of a scientific and innovative textile project, the organization of online training for students, the involvement of Korean specialists, the creation and development of regulatory documents and the organization of online meetings between Korean and Uzbek enterprises on commercial issues.
Also, the Korean side informed about the beginning of work on joint work on scientific and innovative developments, the allocation of specialists from Korea to exchange experience and training of specialists in Korea for further work in the Technopark in the near future.
At the same time, the parties proposed to create a platform for further development of support functions for Korean and national enterprises based on the Technopark website.
