Denis Istomin wins, Amanmuradova loses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan number one and world number 58 Denis Istomin qualified to the second round of ATP Nice.

In the first round, Denis Istomin defeated Olivier Rochus of Belgium. Istomin claimed victory in straight sets – 6/2 and 7/6.

In the second round, the Uzbek tennis company will face Ernests Gulbis of Latvia.

In the women’s tournament in Strasbourg, Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan lost to Mathilde Johansson of France. Johansson clinched victory with the score 6/1 and 6/1.
