Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A working visit by representatives of the Pakistani company Go Dairy (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of the major conglomerate GO Group, to the Tashkent Region continued with a series of practical meetings at leading regional agro-industrial complexes.
The foreign specialists and investors arrived in the capital region to closely examine Uzbekistan's technological potential in raw material processing and seed production, as well as to identify promising areas of cooperation in the food industry.
As part of the approved itinerary, members of the foreign delegation visited the production site of the foreign enterprise Kamilka LLC, located in the Kibray district.
At the site, the Pakistani partners familiarized themselves with the technical equipment of the milk processing plant, automated production processes, and active sanitary and hygienic standards. The guests were shown advanced foreign technologies implemented at the enterprise, alongside key lines of finished dairy products manufactured for the domestic market.
The second point on the practical route of the Pakistani entrepreneurs was the Bostanliq district, where the delegation visited the modern potato farming and seed production center Agrover. The management of the scientific and production center presented a detailed briefing on the company's current operations to the foreign investors.
Special emphasis was placed on breeding work aimed at developing and multiplying high-yielding and disease-resistant potato varieties, the introduction of innovative agricultural technologies in open ground, and modern logistical solutions for organizing long-term storage and subsequent industrial processing of harvested agricultural products.
At the conclusion of the field visits, representatives of the Uzbek agribusiness and the delegates from Pakistan held a round of negotiations, during which a substantive exchange of views on relevant issues of bilateral interaction took place.
The sides expressed mutual interest in the joint study of advanced practices, the transfer of modern industrial technologies, and the launch of direct investment projects. The modernization of agricultural facilities and the expansion of food industry capacities in the Tashkent Region were named as the main priorities for long-term partnership between the business communities of the two countries.
