Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) has announced that in 2024, it received 703 appeals from capital market participants, including 54 from legal entities and 649 from individuals.
The majority of these requests were related to the recovery of dividends for minority shareholders.
As a result of the appeals review, more than 2.05 billion soums were recovered, including 1.55 billion soums for legal entities and 500 million soums for individuals.
Additionally, between 1 October 2023 and 1 January 2025, the total amount recovered in favor of shareholders reached 3.25 billion soums.
NAPP also initiated 20 lawsuits in economic courts to recover accrued but unpaid dividends. Following the court proceedings, rulings were issued to recover over 3.6 billion soums.
