Uzbekistan carmakers sell 146,361 vehicles in five months

Automakers in Uzbekistan sold a total of 146,361 vehicles from January to May 2026, according to data from the OzAvtosanoat association. The market maintains a high concentration, with the three largest players accounting for more than 90 percent of all sales.

UzAuto Motors remains the absolute leader with 69,001 vehicles sold, representing 47.1 percent of the market. UzAuto Khorezm ranks second with a result of 45,756 units (31.3 percent), followed by ADM Jizzakh in third place with 17,417 vehicles (11.9 percent). BYD Uzbekistan Factory sold 13,700 units (9.4 percent), while Samarqand Avtomobil Zavodi and Asaka Motors sold a combined total of 487 vehicles.

In the structure of sales by segment, B-class sedans dominate the market with a share of 35.3 percent. Light commercial vehicles occupy 31.4 percent, SUV-B class off-road vehicles account for 21.5 percent, and SUV-C crossovers make up 6.8 percent.

The Cobalt held its position as the most popular model with 35,245 units sold, followed by the Damas with 29,743 units and the Tracker with 16,924 units.
