Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan signed a financial agreement with the German Development Bank KfW in the amount of 16 million euros.
The main goal of this agreement is to further reform the vocational education system in Uzbekistan.
As part of the project, it is planned to modernize the ministry’s training centers in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, using the principles of dual education, both in material, technical and methodological terms.
According to the signed agreement, a grant of 16 million euros will be allocated for the development of vocational education.
Of this amount, 14 million euros will be allocated for the material, technical and methodological modernization of the ministry’s seven training centers. The remaining 2 million euros will be used to support the project.
