Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- George Paresishvili was approved as Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE).

The corresponding decision was unanimously adopted at the general meeting of shareholders of the Exchange on 31 January 2023.

George Paresishvili became the head of the UZSE in September last year as an acting head.

His main tasks as Chairman of the Board of UZSE remain the integration of the local stock market into the international infrastructure of the capital market, assistance in conducting IPOs and SPOs of local companies, as well as attracting Clearstream, Euroclear and other international custodians to Uzbekistan for foreign investors.
