Four banks become open joint-stock banks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan re-issued licenses on carrying out banking operations and general license on carrying out hard currency operations to four banks due to change of their organizational status.

Asaka Bank state joint-stock commercial bank was renamed to Asaka Bank state joint-stock commercial bank (OJSC), while Galla Bank national joint-stock commercial bank became Galla Bank open joint-stock commercial bank.

Pakhta Bank and Kapitalbank changed their organizational status from joint-stock commercial banks to open joint-stock commercial banks.
