In individual Men’s sabre competitions among cadets, Dongju Kim of South Korea defeated Russia’s Konstantin Lokhanov to win the gold medal. Matteo Neri and Alberto Arpino won the bronze medals of the tournament.
In Women’s foil tournaments among cadets, Leonie Ebert of German won the title, defeating Serena Rossini of Italy. Sylvie Binder of the United States and Victoria Yusova of Russia took the third place.
