Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Embassy of Uzbekistan held talks with representatives of Czech company NEGOCIO s.r.o. to discuss expanding agricultural trade and the export of Uzbek frozen fruit to the European market, Dunyo News Agency reported.
The discussions focused on the prospects for supplying products manufactured in Uzbekistan using Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) technology, which involves the rapid freezing of each fruit individually.
Representatives of the Czech company expressed interest in importing frozen fruit from Uzbekistan, including raspberries, apricots, plums and other berries and fruits. The sides also discussed the possibility of supplying processed fruit products to the Czech market.
During the meeting, participants reviewed Uzbekistan's export potential, product compliance with international quality standards, packaging requirements and opportunities to organise production in line with the requirements of the European market.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to organise B2B meetings between NEGOCIO s.r.o. and Uzbek exporters of frozen fruit products and to continue developing direct business contacts.
