Batch of Modern Buses from China Delivered to Karshi

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Another batch of modern public transport has been delivered to the Kashkadarya region as part of a systematic modernization of the regional transport infrastructure and efforts to improve the quality of passenger service.

The renewal of the rolling stock is aimed at expanding the coverage of the city network and transitioning route lines to more efficient and environmentally friendly operating standards.

To serve the urban routes of Karshi, local transport companies purchased equipment from the leading Chinese manufacturer Asia Star.

In particular, the specialized enterprise Avto Lyuks acquired and has already delivered 10 new buses to the region, which operate on compressed natural gas (CNG).

In parallel, another batch of 16 transport units of the same brand, purchased by the My Way Transport company, is currently in the process of being transported from the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan.

All the new rolling stock entering the disposal of the transport fleets will be integrated into the Karshi city network in the near future.

It is reported that the new Chinese buses will begin operating on intracity routes based on a system of gross contracts, which will allow for the optimization of traffic schedules and significantly increase the regularity and safety of passenger transportation in the regional center.
