Preschool Education Ministry launches bus-based mobile preschool educational institutions in new locations
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In autumn this year, the Ministry of Preschool Education (MPE) summed up the results of a pilot project on mobile preschool education. Converted Isuzu buses were launched in 12 regions of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan in October 2019. 93 groups covered almost 2 thousand children with preschool education in 44 remote makhallas.
Since the pilot phase of the project was successful, the MPE decided to continue and expand it. The construction of buses and playgrounds is carried out at the expense of grant funds.
At the moment, the production of 49 new buses has been completed. Like the previous batch, they are equipped with solar panels, air conditioning, bathrooms, hot and cold water, a kitchen for warming up food. The educational process goes without the obligatory organization of meals, but with the possibility of warming up a light snack.
It is noted that mobile preschool educational institutions are variable: you can easily increase the area by using additional blocks, as well as disassemble and transport the structure to a new location. Heat-resistant, fire-resistant and health-friendly materials will be used for construction and finishing. The designers were specialists from the Turin Polytechnic University, and the modular preschool educational institutions - UzAutoTRAILER LLC.
