Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — From 10 to 13 May, as part of the visit by Uzbek entrepreneurs to Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, a series of meetings and practical events are being held.

On the first day of the visit, members of the delegation, led by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov, held talks with representatives of Afghanistan’s key ministries overseeing food and pharmaceutical regulation.

During the discussions, the Afghan side provided detailed information on the requirements and procedures for importing Uzbek-made products into the Afghan market. They also highlighted the opportunities and favorable conditions created for Uzbek entrepreneurs seeking to establish businesses in Afghanistan.

The delegation also visited the Uzbekistan Trade House in Kabul, which was established to promote the distribution of Uzbek goods. Here, entrepreneurs actively showcased their products, set up displays, and prepared items for sale, taking practical steps toward entering the market.

The visit is aimed at establishing direct trade links between Uzbek and Afghan businesses, boosting Uzbekistan’s export capacity, and enhancing regional economic cooperation.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan is committed to developing practical and effective mechanisms to help domestic producers access international markets through such targeted initiatives.
