Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s national football team will play a friendly against Russia in Tashkent on 12 November, the Uzbekistan Football Association’s press service said.
The match will take place at Pakhtakor Stadium during FIFA’s November international window.
Uzbekistan’s national team is coached by Italian specialist Fabio Cannavaro.
The upcoming fixture will be the second meeting between the national teams of Uzbekistan and Russia. Their previous encounter took place in Tashkent in November 2022 and ended in a 0-0 draw.
In the latest FIFA rankings cited in the report, Uzbekistan are 59th, while Russia occupy 35th place.
