Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — As part of his business program in New York, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with Adena Friedman, Chair of the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.

NASDAQ is one of the world’s leading financial market operators, managing assets exceeding US$30 trillion.

During the meeting, the parties discussed plans to modernize the Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) and create an integrated infrastructure for trading government bonds, aimed at enhancing the transparency and efficiency of Uzbekistan’s financial market.
