Uzbekistan Presents Pavilion at Istanbul Cultural Festival
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A large-scale national pavilion of Uzbekistan was showcased at an international cultural festival held at the prestigious Bahcesehir University (BAU) in Istanbul.
The country's presentation was organized through the joint efforts of the republic's Consulate General and Uzbek students studying at the higher education institution.
According to the Dunyo news agency, the event brought together an influential audience, including representatives of the diplomatic corps, heads of international student associations, faculty members, the university administration, as well as numerous students and festival guests.
A special emphasis in the exposition of the Uzbek pavilion was placed on demonstrating the rich historical and cultural heritage, unique traditions, and immense tourism potential of the republic.
Visitors to the exhibition were able to visually familiarize themselves with the modern achievements of the country, the vector of its open foreign policy, and comprehensive state reforms, including those in the fields of educational modernization and comprehensive youth support.
The culinary highlight of the presentation was a traditional treat — authentic Uzbek pilaf, which generated high interest and received enthusiastic praise from international participants.
At the conclusion of the cultural forum, the pavilion of Uzbekistan ranked among the most visited locations, becoming one of the main centers of attraction for guests at the Istanbul festival.
