Uzbekistan Mobile Internet Users Rise 4.3-Fold in a Decade

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The number of mobile internet subscribers in Uzbekistan reached 33.3 million as of 1 January 2026, according to the National Committee on Statistics.

Compared with 2015, the number of mobile internet users increased by 25.5 million, or 4.3 times. Ten years earlier, the country had 7.8 million mobile internet subscribers.

The number of users grew steadily throughout the period. Mobile internet subscribers totaled 9 million in 2016, 10.3 million in 2017, 12.7 million in 2018 and 15.7 million in 2019.

The figure rose to 17.9 million in 2020, 21 million in 2021, 24 million in 2022, 27.1 million in 2023 and 29.2 million in 2024.

As of the beginning of 2026, the number of mobile internet subscribers stood at 33.3 million.
