Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Following a roundtable with senior representatives of leading U.S. companies, investment funds, and financial institutions, attended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard L. Latnik, a series of bilateral agreements were signed.
Among the agreements is a cooperation deal in the production of rare-earth elements between the Ministry of Geology of Uzbekistan and Denali Exploration Group, as well as a similar agreement on rare-earth metal projects between the Reconstruction and Development Fund of Uzbekistan and Re Element Technologies.
The Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade signed an agreement with Flowserve for the modernization of pumping stations, while the Ministry of Agriculture partnered with Valmont Industries Inc. to implement advanced water-saving technologies.
In the digital sector, an agreement was concluded to expand cooperation in artificial intelligence between the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan and Palo Alto Networks.
Additional contracts include aircraft supply agreements between Uzairways and Boeing, soybean and meal deliveries between Datacrop and Louis Dreyfus Company, and cotton shipments between Uzsanoatexport and Cargill.
