Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The third round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Jordan was held on 7 October 2026 at the level of department heads.

During the talks, the sides discussed further strengthening political dialogue, developing trade, economic and investment cooperation, and expanding cultural and humanitarian ties.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation between Uzbekistan and Jordan within international organisations.

The sides also exchanged views on current issues on the regional agenda.

In addition, the participants reviewed the schedule and agenda for upcoming joint events at various levels.
