Uzbek-Russian JV to buy German equipment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ekzemtex, an Uzbek-Russian joint venture, will carry out modernization and re-equipment of its capacities in 2010-2012.

The enterprise, specializing on production of medicinal cotton, will buy four boiling kettle for cotton boiling of German production. The venture will attract bank loans for US$1 million to realize the project.

The modernization will allow the venture to produce goods for US$400,000 in 2010, US$500,000 in 2011 and US$600,000 in 2012.
