Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ride-hailing and delivery platform Uklon is expanding its operations in Uzbekistan by launching services in five cities across the Ferghana Valley.

Starting from 5 August, the company will begin onboarding drivers in Ferghana, Margilan, Kokand, Namangan and Andijan. Once this stage is completed, residents will be able to use the platform for ride-hailing and delivery services.

The Ferghana Valley will become the first region where Uklon launches simultaneously in several cities outside Tashkent.

According to Eduard Kovtun, General Manager of Uklon Uzbekistan, the company views the Ferghana Valley as a single region with a highly mobile population, and the simultaneous launch across five cities will help create a convenient ecosystem for both passengers and drivers.

The company noted that the Ferghana, Andijan and Namangan regions are home to nearly 11 million people, or about 29% of Uzbekistan's population. The regions also account for a significant share of passenger transport. In 2025, more than 2 billion passengers travelled by road transport in the three regions, representing nearly one-third of all road passenger traffic in the country.

From 5 August, drivers will be able to register and join the platform independently through the Uklon Driver app.

If needed, they will be able to receive assistance from the company's Driver Care specialists. Until the end of the year, drivers in the newly launched cities will benefit from a reduced commission rate.

After the launch, users in Kokand and Namangan will have access to the Lite and Comfort ride categories, while passengers in Andijan, Ferghana and Margilan will also be able to use the Fast Search option. A 24/7 customer support service will also be available.

Uklon has operated in Uzbekistan since June 2023. According to the company, more than 15 million trips were completed through the platform in 2025.

The company's Uzbekistan team currently consists of around 90 employees, including about 50 working in the Driver Care and Customer Care support services.

Uklon said it plans to continue expanding across Uzbekistan by introducing new services and entering additional regions based on demand and local mobility patterns.
