Two people died after a truck collides with a train in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 10 September, at 03:50, at the level crossing of the railway access road belonging to the Almalyk mining and metallurgical plant, a truck collided with the train at full speed despite there was a closed barrier and a traffic signal was forbidden for cars.

During the incident, when carrying out maneuvering work, in the established manner, of a train of 8 cars on the access road of the AGMK, the truck, in violation of the rules for driving on the railway crossing, in the presence of a prohibiting traffic signal before moving, collided with the first car located after shunting locomotive.

As a result of the accident, two cars of the train went off the rails. At the time of the collision on the opposite side, there were cars with the passage. Due to a collision and a descent of the rolling stock, a DAMAS automobile with passengers was damaged. In the result of the accident, two people died.

Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting investigative measures in this case.
