Tashkent Metro, Chinese university discuss staff training

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — JSC Tashkent Metro held a meeting with representatives of China’s Jilin Railway Vocational Technical University to discuss training qualified specialists for the metro system and expanding international cooperation.

The meeting was attended by members of the Chinese delegation, a deputy head of JSC Tashkent Metro and responsible company employees.

The sides discussed training specialists for the metro system, improving the professional knowledge and skills of current employees, introducing modern educational programmes and strengthening practical training.

Particular attention was paid to exchanging experience in workforce training and studying advanced international educational practices. The sides also considered opportunities to apply these practices in the work of Tashkent Metro.

Participants discussed the use of modern technologies and advanced approaches in metro operations, regular professional development for specialists and the creation of a personnel reserve for the sector.

Following the meeting, the sides confirmed their interest in further developing long-term cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the training and professional development of metro specialists.
