Huawei Alliance (HIMA)

AITO · Luxeed · Stelato · Maextro

0.59M (AITO), 2025

HIMA — the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance — was introduced by Huawei in November 2023, not as a standalone automaker but as a model where the tech giant supplies software, autonomous-driving capability, and the HarmonyOS operating system, while state-owned automakers handle manufacturing and certification. Under the HIMA umbrella sit four brands, each with a different partner: AITO (with Seres), Luxeed (with Chery), Stelato (with BAIC BluePark), and Maextro (with JAC).

In 2025, all five partners — AITO, Luxeed, Stelato, Maextro, and SAIC — announced deeper cooperation within the alliance, unifying standards and pooling resources, turning HIMA from a marketing term into genuine industrial collaboration.

Interesting fact

Huawei doesn’t sell a single car under its own name — but its tech and branded showrooms stand behind five different brands: AITO, Luxeed, Stelato, Maextro, and more.
