Stelato was registered by Huawei in December 2023 as the third brand of the HIMA alliance, with BAIC BluePark — a subsidiary of BAIC Group — as its partner. The brand's market debut came in March 2024 with the Stelato S9, a full-size premium electric sedan.

Distinguishing feature

Stelato is the newest of Huawei's partnerships with state automakers at launch, and the only one of the four HIMA brands tied to BAIC rather than Seres, Chery, or JAC.
