SORA CAKE AND BAKERY Production Facility Opens in Namangan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A new production facility operated by the SORA CAKE AND BAKERY brand has begun operations in Davlatabad district of Uzbekistan’s Namangan region ahead of the country’s 35th anniversary of state independence. The project has an investment value of 10 billion soums, the press service of the Davlatabad district administration said.
The facility is located in the youth small industrial zone of Davlatabad district. Its production line is equipped with modern machinery supplied from China, Türkiye and Italy.
The company produces more than 30 types of confectionery products. The facility has the capacity to manufacture products worth up to 2 billion soums annually.
The project has created new jobs, with the company planning to provide permanent employment for 60 people in the future.
The company also plans to enter foreign markets as part of its further development. Its export volume is expected to reach about US$1 million in the future.
The opening ceremony was attended by Namangan Region Governor Shavkatjon Abdurazzaqov, representatives of the older generation, entrepreneurs, young people and members of the public.
Participants toured the production process and the facility’s operations and held a meeting with entrepreneurs. During the discussion, proposals were made to further expand production capacity.
The project is aimed at developing manufacturing in the region, creating new jobs and increasing the export potential of Namangan region.
