Sonect Plans BPO Centres in Tashkent, Samarkand and Ferghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Sonect has officially announced its entry into the Uzbek market during the Global Business Services Forum (GBSF) 2026.

During the forum, Uzbekistan's Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, met with Sonect Chief Executive Officer Ekaterina Osina to discuss the launch of the company's operations in the country and its future development plans.

Participants in the meeting said the decision to enter the Uzbek market followed earlier negotiations held in Moscow and Tashkent. At GBSF 2026, the company also announced its rebranding and the official launch of its operations in Uzbekistan.

The parties reviewed plans to establish operational centres in Tashkent, Samarkand and Ferghana. They also discussed the training of qualified personnel, services for international clients and the use of support mechanisms provided by the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem.

The Ministry of Digital Technologies said Sonect's entry into Uzbekistan was a practical outcome of IT Park Uzbekistan's international activities and is expected to strengthen the country's position as a regional hub for global business services and business process outsourcing (BPO).
