SCO prosecutors discuss joint fight against crime

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The seventh session of the prosecutors general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries has been held in Moscow.

Delegations from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China took part in the session. Kazakhstan Prosecutor General Kairat Mami headed the Kazakh delegation.

Within the framework of the session a wide range of directions on joint struggle against crime in the region was discussed. In particular, joint prevention of crimes in the economic sphere and activity of religious extremist organizations, countering transnational organized crime, drug crime and human trafficking.
