Sabalenka Beats Rakhimova to Reach US Open Fourth Round

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka advanced to the fourth round of the 2026 US Open after defeating Kamilla Rakhimova of Uzbekistan, ranked 92nd in the world, with a score of 6-3, 6-4.

The match lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. Sabalenka delivered 10 aces, committed one double fault, and converted two of seven break points. Rakhimova recorded two aces and six double faults, failing to earn a break point opportunity during the match.

In the next round, Sabalenka will play for a spot in the quarterfinals against the winner of the third-round match between Diana Shnaider and Taylor Townsend.
