Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Rescuers from the Kamchik Special Rescue Department found five people who became lost while vacationing in the mountainous area of Akhangaran district, Tashkent region.
The emergency was reported through the 112 system at 19:37 on 4 October 2026. Five people had become lost in the mountains in the Chinor mahalla.
After receiving the report, the search and rescue team from the Beshkul duty unit of the Kamchik Special Rescue Department began operations.
The five people were found at 00:31.
Rescuers escorted them to a safe location, after which they were sent home.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations urged citizens visiting mountainous areas to follow safety rules, take weather conditions into account and plan their routes in advance.
