Rail Service Between Tashkent and Kazan Resumes After Hiatus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 21 December 2025, the first train departed from Tashkent Central Station to Kazan following the resumption of rail service between the capital of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan, the Ministry of Transport reported.

Train No. 315 Tashkent–Kazan departs on Sundays at 23:55 and arrives at Kazan Station on Wednesday at 13:47. The return service, Train No. 316 Kazan–Tashkent, leaves Kazan Station on Thursdays at 10:33 and arrives in Tashkent on Sunday at 04:32.

The train consists of seven carriages and accommodates 342 passengers, providing comfortable and regular travel between the two cities.

The resumption of this service opens new opportunities for passenger transport and strengthens transportation links between Uzbekistan and Russia.
