President of Uzbekistan meets Prime Minister of Pakistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held negotiations with Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif in Astana (Kazakhstan) on 8 June 2017.

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that Uzbekistan will further develop multi-faceted mutually beneficial cooperation with Pakistan.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan is interested in further expanding comprehensive cooperation with Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the sides considered current state of cooperation between the two countries and prospects for its further development. They also discussed issues of strengthening regional security.
